- Identify, interview, and place highly-qualified professionals in new career opportunities
- Leverage creative messaging and networking strategies to recruit and engage top technical talent
- Source for candidates using referral networks, job boards, social and professional networks, and our existing database
- Conduct thorough phone screens to evaluate technical skills, professional strengths, compensation expectations, and career goals
- Guide candidates through the interview, offer, and on-boarding process
- Negotiate offer details, compensation, and benefits to attract and close candidates into positions
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and determine key requirements
- Own and continually enhance the employer brand and recruitment marketing strategies including managing Harborstones career pages
- Document all interactions with candidates in an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
- Provide prompt and thorough feedback to candidates throughout the recruiting life-cycle
- Perform reference checks and validate certifications
- Coordinate and prepare candidates for interviews
- Proactively build and cultivate a strong pipeline of financial services talent
- Represent Harborstone Credit Union at various recruitment events including job fairs
- Associates or Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry professionals
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of various sourcing tools and methodologies
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Dependable, able to work under pressure, receptive to change, willing to learn, cooperative approach to problem-solving
- Possess strong critical thinking skills to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) Preferably iCIMS
- Knowledge of State and Federal Discrimination Laws
