    Description
    We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA's laboratory business at Durham NC.

    The Associate Scientist will be instrumental in conducting and documenting analytical procedures, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines, and contributing to the advancement of our laboratory operations.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Conducting and documenting analytical procedures in line with SOPs and regulatory standards.
    • Analyzing data to ensure procedures are on track and results fall within acceptable ranges.
    • Identifying, documenting, and escalating any potential performance issues or unusual results.
    • Preparing and uploading data analysis results to the LIMS system.
    • Assisting with quality investigations, deviations, and resolutions.
    • Preparing necessary solutions and buffers for analysis.
    • Guiding and training new and entry-level staff on routine procedures.
    • Performing calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
    What We Are Looking For:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology.
    • At least 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
    • Basic knowledge and understanding of the assigned technical area and procedures.
    • Proficiency with laboratory techniques and regulatory standards like GLP.
    • Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
    The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:
    • Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control procedures, and hazardous chemical handling.
    • Experience with automation and specialized laboratory equipment.
    • Proficiency in laboratory calculations and quality control metrics.
    • Strong computer, multitasking, and collaboration skills.

    The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $47, $79, The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
