Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility company, is looking for a Project Coordinator out of their Tualatin, OR .
In this role, you will be responsible for processing high volumes of applications daily and providing customer service to installers for the Net Metering program.
Requires coordination and collaboration with other departments to progress the application through the process on a cloud-based system. Contract Duration: 3+ months.
Hours: 40 hours a week / 8AM - 5PM.
Key Responsibilities for
Project Coordinator:
Working ability to work with multiple projects at once and provide detailed oversight of project timelines and regulatory requirements with a minimum of supervision.
Process project applications.Processes and responds to inquiries and/or applications for specialized customer programs (e.g., net metering, solar payment); determine completeness of application according to tariffs and company requirements.
Determine level/tier of project and whether more study is required before approval; coordinates with all parties to ensure completion of appropriate documents.
Project Planning:
Develop project scope, requirements, schedule, and deliverables; develop purchase orders for equipment for customer interconnection with grid; monitors, tracks, and reports to management and/or senior staff and others on project status and milestones.
Coordinates project review meetings and other meetings, such as site visits for testing and commissioning projects.Customer Support Tracks and assists in resolving customer issues; maintains database of issues and resolutions.
Coordinates with protection, metering, and billing to facilitate smooth interconnection for customers; determines billing amounts and verifies payments made; resolves disputes and billing discrepancies.
Requirements/Qualifications forProject Coordinator:
2 years' experience with a bachelor's Degree preferred.
No degree will require 5 years' experience within solar, energy, electric vehicles, construction, or related field.
Working knowledge of business contracts.
Working knowledge of project planning steps and elements.
Basic knowledge of:
Billing practices, purchasing procedures and processes.
Basic knowledge of:
Marketing and sales processes and electrical power system.
MS Office, Adobe Acrobat.
