Contribute:
As a Data Services Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the design, maintenance, and implementation of database management systems, which provides the organization with orderly methods of data storage and controlled access to data

In addition, you will:
Develop and implement new programs and systems in specific designated areas.

Allocate resources to projects and maintain an overall resource plan for the team.

Develop and prepare audits, testing and debugging procedures, problem analysis, feasibility studies, cost analyses, timetables and user procedures.

Work closely with business management and controllers in the development of long range plans, establishment of priorities, identification of requirements, and training of users.

What it Takes:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field; or equivalent work experience

8+ years of related work experience

Experience in development, implementation, and maintenance of data solutions across multiple platforms

Demonstrated ability for system design, delivery, and management

Experience in Java development, Data Pipeline, and/or streaming data implementations beneficial

Strong knowledge and experience working with analytical database designs and implementations

Experience in development and implementation of BI capabilities, especially Tableau, SQL Server Analysis Services, and SAP Business Objects

Experience or working knowledge of Apache Kafka, Spark, or other streaming technologies beneficial

Experience in insurance considered beneficial

Creative thinker with the ability to tell a story with data

Excellent written and verbal skills with strong presentation skills

Prior management, supervisory, or team leader experience, including project management experience preferred
