Our courts and probation departments are dedicated to delivering unbiased and efficient conflict resolution, supporting families, litigants, and victims, promoting client rehabilitation, and fostering active community involvement.

Statement of Duties

General Statement of Duties:
You will handle complex case processing and coordinate judicial activities in a Judge's, Magistrate's, or Clerk of Court's Office.

Distinguishing Factors:
Roles in this category focus on tasks that contribute to the processing and coordination of judicial activities from start to finish. Individuals in this category will eventually take on the full spectrum of Clerks' Office or Division Office responsibilities.

Essential Functions

To be established at the local district.
Provide customer service, data entry, and file maintenance.
Handle monies owed to the court.
Schedule court proceedings and assist the Judge with case flow management.
Maintain an orderly courtroom.
Perform the full range of Clerks' Office or Division Office functions.
May require occasional travel.

Supervisor Responsibilities

Supervisor Responsibilities:
You will oversee your work and may offer guidance to coworkers, volunteers, or interns. This can involve scheduling tasks, providing instructions, and reviewing others' work, taking up less than 50% of your time.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands:
The job involves walking regularly and other physical activities like standing, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities are necessary.

Work Environment:
In the work environment, employees may be exposed to certain risks and handle interruptions and inquiries. The noise level is typically moderate.
