    *Senior Java Developer**Remote or Hybrid in Cleveland, OH**6-12-Month Contract (with high chance of extension or conversion)


    The Java Developer position is responsible for the development, integration, and deployment of application software supporting mission-critical business applications within the TAG IT customer processing and repository group.

    This role requires participation in the complete system development life cycle including post implementation support. The developer provides technical consulting to management, business users, and mentors other developers. Looking for a strong Web Developer with great communication skills. You will be owning projects and have the ability to manage your own projects, incredible opportunity for anyone looking to take the next step in their career

    *Minimum Qualifications: * 7+ years of IT experience and working on all phases of the SDLC

    • 7+ years of web application development experience in a Java/J2EE environment
    • 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot, Microservices and REST APIs.
    • Exposure to Cloud Platforms, preferably with Azure or AWS.
    • 5+ years experience in an enterprise database management system, preferably in Oracle (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)
    • Exposure to development frameworks/languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS
    • 5+ years experience working with Source Control environments such as GIT
    • Strong Communication
    *Responsibilities
    • Design full-stack application and database components for development projects
    • Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications, and/or customer requirements to design and build Internet solutions utilizing multiple technologies
    • Perform complex programming assignments requiring an advanced aptitude of established programming standards, methods, and best practices
    • Maintain and modify web applications; make approved changes by amending application documentation, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes.
    • Conduct research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks
    • Mitigate significant risks associated with projects, which have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business.
