Your tasks include the following areas:

  • Software development for embedded systems under the operating systems Linux, QNX, and Android in the Funkwerk software development process
  • Analysis and design as well as implementation in the programming languages C or C++
  • Conducting development-related tests and documentation

You should bring the following qualifications and experience:

  • University degree in computer science, telecommunications, engineering informatics, or a comparable degree
  • Several years of professional programming experience in a higher programming language, ideally in C and C++
  • Good English skills in both written and spoken form
  • Knowledge of the basic structure of telecommunications systems or similarly complex embedded systems
  • Experience with IP communication protocols and protocol stacks, ideally in the field of mobile communication (4G, 5G)

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of software testing methods and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of project management
  • Knowledge of IT security
