The position of OGS management primarily involves planning and implementing demand-oriented programs in the areas of education, upbringing, and counseling within the context of the Open All-Day School in Plattville, IL.

Job Profile:

  • Organization and coordination of all programs within the OGS
  • Planning of extracurricular activities and leisure programs
  • Planning/organization of homework supervision and study time
  • Scheduling and creating work schedules for employees
  • Organization of lunchtime meals
  • Management of material budget
  • Conducting team meetings
  • Implementation and further development of the overall concept in coordination with the OGS team, school management, and the sponsoring organization
  • Adhering to the guidelines and concepts of the organization and acting accordingly
  • Facilitating collaboration with school management, teachers, educational staff, parttime employees, as well as networking and cooperation with external partners in the fields of youth welfare, sports, and music

Desired Competencies:

  • Completed degree in social work or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in coordination/team leadership
  • Pedagogical knowledge/experience, preferably in early childhood education and support for elementary school children
  • Basic knowledge of youth welfare
  • Ability to work in a team and cooperate with others
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of local social networks (or willingness to acquire this knowledge)
  • Basic computer skills
