    Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN PT) is seeking a physical therapist assistant or POET Testing Specialist to perform POET (Post-Offer Employment Testing) for our clientLocation: West Sacramento, CA Region - Commute between multiple sites required


    Schedule:
    Part-Time/Per Diem - Opportunity to increase hours as needed

    Pay Range:
    $26- $40/hr. Individual pay rate dependent on location, experience and job related factors.
    Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) has been providing work site health services to the Bay Area for 20 years.

    We currently have an opening for an Physical Therapist Assistant or a POET Testing Specialist to serve our client in the West Sacramento area.

    We're looking for someone who has experience providing POET in production and distribution center settings. We offer flexible schedules to support your work/life balance. This position is part-time/per diem with opportunity to increase based on volume of hires for these facilities.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct Post-Offer Employment Testing (POET) to assess the physical capabilities of job candidates.

    The successful candidate will administer standardized physical assessments, evaluate functional abilities, and provide objective data to help employers make informed decisions regarding the suitability of candidates for specific job roles.

    This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both candidates and employersResponsibilities:
    Conduct Post-Offer Employment Testing (POET) assessments for job candidates according to established protocols and guidelines.
    Administer standardized physical assessments to evaluate candidates' strength, flexibility, endurance, and functional abilities related to specific job requirements.
    Ensure the safety and comfort of candidates throughout the testing process, providing clear instructions and support as needed.

    Document objective data and observations accurately during POET assessments, including measurements of physical performance and any limitations or concerns identified.

    Communicate POET results effectively to employers, providing clear and concise reports that outline candidates' physical capabilities and any relevant findings.

    Collaborate with employers and occupational health professionals to develop customized job descriptions and physical demand analyses (PDAs) for specific job roles.

    Provide recommendations regarding job modifications, accommodations, or rehabilitation strategies based on POET results and functional assessments.
    Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive candidate information and medical records.
    Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to employment testing and occupational health.
    Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills related to POET administration and interpretation.


    Qualifications:


    Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, PreferredCurrent state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant, PreferredMinimum of 2 years of experience working as a PTA in a clinical or occupational health setting, with experience in functional assessments and rehabilitation.

    Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics related to the musculoskeletal system.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently with minimal supervision.
    Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care.


    Physical Requirements:
    Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
    Manual dexterity and tactile sensitivity necessary for performing orthopedic assessments and therapeutic interventions.
    Visual acuity and auditory ability to assess patient responses and communicate effectively.
