We are looking for a dynamic Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis and insights across Carbon Direct Inc. A successful candidate combines stellar analytical skills with a strong understanding of financial principles.
You are detail-oriented, intellectually curious, interested in solving challenging problems, and able to collaborate effectively with team members across departments.
You will report to our VP of Finance.Although a background in climate work is a plus but not a prerequisite, a passion for solving climate problems is required.
ResponsibilitiesOwn monthly financial analysis and reporting for all departments and business lines, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to inform key decisions and drive company strategy.
Collaborate closely with the VP of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cash management.
Develop reporting to track key performance metrics.
Work cross-functionally on financial planning, pricing, margin analysis, and benchmarking.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and infrastructure.
Qualifications
Experience in a financial analyst role; experience working for a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organization is a plus.
Bachelor's degree required; major in finance, business, economics, or related field is preferred.
Proficiency with financial modeling and knowledge of GAAP including key areas such as revenue recognition are critical.
Proven analytical abilities, well-developed communication and organizational skills, and keen attention to detail are vital.
$108,000-$132,000
