Job Summary:

The Senior Power BI Specialist will join our BI/Analytics Team to design, develop, and maintain our Power BI platform.
Responsible for creating innovative reports, views, dashboards, and more using Power BI and Power Platform to drive data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate closely with various teams to develop data-informed reports that support business growth and operational efficiency.

Job Details:

Develop visualizations, reports, dashboards, apps, and KPI scorecards using Power BI.
Estimate infrastructure costs to support the Power BI ecosystem.
Implement row level security on data and work with Data Warehouse team to develop dimensional models.
Establish a governance framework for self-service analytics in Power BI.
Lead and mentor junior resources to meet solution requirements.

Ongoing Support & Maintenance:

Adhere to established policies and standards for consistency.
Establish processes, methods, and tools for Enterprise Power BI Platform.
Respond to User Help Desk tickets for business users.

Position Requirements:

Expert level hands-on Power BI experience with Dimensional Modeling, DAX, and Visualization skills.
Experience supporting self-service analytics with Power BI.
Thorough understanding of Power BI desktop and publishing reports to the Power BI service.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Data Integration techniques, Data Modeling, and Performance Tuning.
Desire to stay ahead of trends and apply emerging technologies.

Background Experiences

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in BI/Business Analytics Reporting with Power BI and other tools.
Prior experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
