    Purpose of the job:

    This role serves as a single point of accountability for blending, transloading, packaging, and delivery of finished product/raw materials to NA terminals and tolling locations. Manages bulk/packaged inventory for all Oligomer product lines. Strategic and tactical planning for the exponential growth of HiVis PAO will be required by this individual to succeed against Commercial objectives. This position requires the ability to coordinate with a diverse team of external/internal stakeholders against contract execution, safety objectives, and continuous improvements in an environment that changes daily, which will require priorities to shift to improve business functions.

    Other areas of coordination for Terminal Operations include assisting in the negotiation and tactical execution within terminal specific contracts to achieve NA Oligomers Supply Chain model/objectives. Budgets/coordinates/optimizes logistics spend associated with terminal/tolling operations. The role also embodies remit for ensuring regulatory compliance for Oligomers overland conveyance. Role aligns Logistics activities off site to drive operational performance in terms of BU requirements, customer service, and financial delivery.

    Responsibilities AND Accountabilities:

    Accountability 1:

    Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality
    • Investigate, respond, and resolve Service Infringements (SI) involving terminal operations and inventory management.
    • Assist SHE in the development and maintenance of terminal qualifications and association with Canadian Responsible Care initiative.
    • Lead assurance process for product handling within terminals and toll operators to assure equipment/services meet minimum standards to maintain product quality.
    • Ensure timely communication of events/incidents to the SHE team. Support the SHE group in efforts of root cause identification and development of programs to reduce/eliminate carrier incidents.
    • Purchase and manage inbound product logistics to supply tolling and drumming facilities while assuring compliance to US Customs requirements.
    Accountability 2:

    Budget Responsibilities/Financial
    • Facilitate/prioritize the activities of sales/inventory and production planning to meet performance goals of Supply Chain and the business.
    • Develop/Support annual terminal budget process including leases, projects, and working capital. Monitor contractor spend to budget.
    • Coordinate month-end close inventory for finished product at NA packaging terminals. Resolve variances between SAP and third-party inventory reports.
    Accountability 3:

    Procurement and Contract Negotiations
    • Define scope of packaging/terminal vendors to facilitate negotiation of Terminal Services Agreements.
    • Assists in managing terminal lease contracts, adding tankage to existing agreements and meeting the lease requirements for the return of tankage.
    Accountability 4:

    Optimization
    • Manage processing efficiency of tolling operations.
    • Accountable for managing day-to-day product storage and inventory replenishment process against Sales forecast.
    • Work with site operations to optimize or resolve short term scheduling issues.
    • Provide feedback/direction to PAO planning to support customer requirements, internal resupply to the regions, and improve efficiency/visibility of supply chain.
    • Formulate off-site storage contingency plans to ensure plant(s) keep producing.
    Accountability 5:

    Leadership
    • Serve on function committee(s) as needed representing area of responsibility.
    • Coach, motivate, and evaluate the resources with external terminal contacts to ensure that day-to-day activities are executed and to drive continuous improvement.
    Accountability 6:

    Management of People
    • Work closely with service providers to understand industry capability and identify capacity constraints.
    • Authorize inventory dispensing to Customer Service in support of the domestic/export customer portfolio.
    • Provide direction to Customer Service, internal/external sites, and carriers as needed to support customer requirements.
    • Act as primary interface between packaging terminals and Product Management.
    • Track and benchmark terminal charges to assure accurate and appropriate invoicing.
    • Participate in terminal performance reviews to provide feedback on operational performance and opportunities for improvement. Address/resolve service infringements.
    • Represent Oligomers as lead contact for tolling and packaging terminals.
    • Provide 24/7 coverage for any operational issues and emergencies to mitigate commercial damage.
    Accountability 7:

    Systems Management
    • Lead in SAP new material codes/extensions for NA & Asia.
    • Manage SAP/ICE credential issuance to 3rd party users.
    • Hands on troubleshooting with internal/external stakeholders for SAP issues that disrupt order-to-cash processes.
    Skills & Knowledge Required

    Level of education & experience in general:
    • 5-10 years Logistics Operations experience.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Logistics Mgmt preferred.
    • Contract management experience preferred.
    • Strong track record of developing a powerful safety culture and enforcing 3rd Party SHE compliance.
    • Knowledge of transportation systems and order-to-cash (OTC) processes and systems.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
    • Proficient in mathematics.
    Technical skills:
    • ISO 9001/6000 Quality trained to Auditor level.
    • Service Infringement resolution trained
    • SAP Super User.
    • Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) trained.
    • DOT Certified.
    • Well versed in liquid hydrocarbon logistics, terminaling, and drumming.
    • Multi-modal transport proficient.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and perform tasks requiring repetitive use of hands.
