Director of Global Brand Strategy
This position will lead global brand strategy and management for Trane Technologies, inclusive of strategic and portfolio brands. You will collaborate with regional marketing leadership, legal, communications, finance, product management, communications and the executive leadership teams to improve brand reputation and drive growth for the company. You will be accountable for developing innovative brand strategies and activation plans aligned with business objectives that drive increased demand and brand preference while maximizing return on business investments. The brand strategy leader will ultimately be responsible for accelerating the enterprise's brand strategy and activation capabilities.
Responsibilities
· Evolve and drive direction of the enterprise brand strategy, architecture, visual identity and related assets/activation plans, including governance of appropriate integration and connection with strategic brands.
· Continue to refine enterprise brand strategy in alignment with refreshed corporate strategy to enhance equity flow between the enterprise and strategic brands and support growth into adjacencies and new markets.
· Evolve and enhance employer brand strategy with prospective employees in key markets/demographics to support recruiting and retention
· Serve as lead brand strategist for the enterprise with a consultative mindset for the regions and strategic brands with regards to building equity in and managing their brands
· Coordinate with regional brand and marketing leadership to create and manage global governance model
· Conduct brand health research for Trane Technologies with analysis on how to positively impact reputation and increase brand awareness
Qualifications
· Proven experience in brand strategy and positioning
· Strategic thinker, collaborator and creative problem-solver. An articulate communicator who can synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
· Expertise in global B2B environment with multiple channels to market
· Strong leadership, collaboration and influencing skills to build teams and inspire and motivate them by fostering a culture of marketing excellence, persistence, and commitment that delivers results
· Strong business acumen and ability to blend data and judgment in making decisions
· Experience in translating insights into action and excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
