The Senior Director, Marketing will develop and implement marketing strategies to drive business growth and enhance the company's brand positioning.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company's business activities.
Plan and execute campaigns for corporate promotion and new lines of business.
Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns and go-to-market strategies and tactics.
Work closely with key stakeholders, including business development, sales team, and executive leadership, to align marketing initiatives with key business goals.
Drive the organization's brand strategy, including assistance with possibly redefining and reimagining the current strategy to ensure it is aligned with the organization's strategic plan.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, track ROI, and make data-driven recommendations for Industry Conference and Event Strategy.Provide short-and long- term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
Implement metrics for measuring marketing campaign effectiveness and refine campaigns to ensure optimal results as defined by the marketing strategic plan.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices in marketing, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
Oversee and grow the marketing department by partnering with Human Resources on recruiting and identifying top talent.Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, providing post-event reports and analysis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of relevant experience in marketing, preferably with a focus on biotech and pharmaceutical companies required.
3+ years of experience in a managerial role required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Demonstratable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
Familiarity with financial planning and strategy.
2+ years of experience in a CDMO preferred.
Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.
Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing strategies that resulted in business growth and brand awareness.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities effectively and problem solve, including early identification of issues/problems that may arise.
Excellent communications, interpersonal and collaboration skills, and ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals and organizations.
Proven ability to lead a team and foster growth through training and feedback.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and develop actionable strategies and tactics.
Strong technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office products, HubSpot, and Salesforce familiarity with leading project management software tools.
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality work.
Extended hours, shift and weekend work may be required from time to time.
