JOB SUMMARY

Provides process support to the plant operations, including production, quality control, quarry operations and shipping.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Works closely with the Production Managers to ensure optimized process performance and provides technical troubleshooting expertise.
Conduct process/trial studies and data analysis to aid the development of plans and projects to optimize plant operations and ensure continuous improvement.
Ensure all Environmental and Safety policies and procedures are followed throughout the plant operation to maintain Corporate and Regulatory compliance.
Provide data analysis, technical guidance, and training to the appropriate plant personnel.
Communicate effectively with Operations Manager, plant personnel, Customer Service, Engineering, outside suppliers and other business units to ensure production objectives are met.
Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS

Strong computer skills required. Experience with various software platforms including Microsoft Office and Google Suite. IFS experience, preferred.
Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills required
Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines
Demonstrated poise and ease when interacting with all levels of the organization
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Detail oriented

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience
Must be knowledgeable in continuous process manufacturing operations.
3-5 years experience in an industrial environment
Demonstrated strong performance through positions of increasing responsibility.

REQUIRED ACTIVITIES

Frequent walking, standing, and sitting with exposure to all seasonal climatic conditions, and typical manufacturing environment conditions. Occasionally lifting, carrying, and/or pulling objects up to 50 lbs.
