- Adhere to Fisher Barton Safety and Quality procedures and regulations and business code of ethics
- Pull orders, ensure orders have been pulled, staged and repacked in correct quantities and packaging
- Load and unload trucks as required
- Use scanner to ensure all product is placed into correct location and system is updated
- Create and reprint labels
- Process chips from the Machine Shop
- Package and store finished parts
- Build boxes for shipment of product to customers
- Maintain inventory of commonly used containers
- Build custom wood shipping boxes
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of working areas
- Basic Math skills
- Basic computer skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Weight amount that would need to be lifted, pushed, or pulled: Up to 100 pounds
- Sit, Stand, Walk Talk/Hear, Use Hands, Climb/Balance, Stoop/Kneel/Crouch or Crawl, Reach with Hands and Arms, Taste/Smell (Percentage of Day = 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%)
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
- Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
- Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
- Manufacturing: Loud (Examples: metal can, manufacturing department, large earth moving equipment)

If you have strong attention to detail, can work safely and efficiently independently and as part of a team, and are looking for an opportunity to grow, you could advance your career in Shipping and Receiving. As a Shipping and Receiving Technician, you will work with the operations team to ship and receive products in a timely manner and maintain inventory counts for finished goods and raw materials through accurate documentation to ensure on-time delivery to our customers.
