Maintenance Technician

Job Objective:

Maintain building and mechanical equipment in all of Miro Tool's facilities


JOB SUMMARY:

Maintain both internal and external general/preventative maintenance to ensure continual, efficient operations with mínimal down time


Responsibilities:


  • Perform maintenance on production equipment, including but not limited to water jets, punch presses, compressors, CNC lathes, mills and grinders.
  • Troubleshoot production equipment such as electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Basic knowledge of safety procedures and understanding of OSHA.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow given directions while organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Maintain work areas and tooling to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Receive all training necessary to work on various types of shop equipment.
  • Delegate authority to machine operators to perform preventive maintenance on their equipment.
  • Monitor trends and create preventive maintenance schedules to minimize unnecessary repairs.
  • Perform root cause analysis so as to better determine appropriate solutions.
  • Diagnostic ability, good intuition and ingenuity a must.

  • Maintain timely contact with employees to ensure high levels of internal customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all employees.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all departments.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 35 years experience in machine maintenance required. Manufacturing background a plus
  • Fork lift experience a plus

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:


  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights above 10 feet
  • Must use PPE and wear company provided uniforms.
  • Will work both inside and outside the buildings as needs require

Pay:
From $30.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
