Position Overview:


The modern visitor center of the Gardens of the World welcomes its visitors as an information, meeting, and conference venue and invites them to linger with its visitor information and associated information and service offerings, the permanent exhibition on the creation of the Gardens of the World, a shop, rental services, and a restaurant.

As part of a small team, you will be the first point of contact for visitors to plan and design their visit to the Gardens of the World.

As a guide, source of inspiration, and problem solver, you will provide information about the entire range of offerings and options and assist visitors with any questions and needs.

You will also provide support in our event area.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming and advising visitors onsite, providing telephone information, and handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Providing information and service offerings (site maps, flyers, mobility aids, audio guides, etc.)
  • Acting as a liaison with service providers and colleagues working in the park
  • Ensuring proper handling and processing of inquiries that cannot be answered conclusively
  • Working closely with the Visitor Center Manager (office management)
  • Assisting with event and project management
  • Assisting with the care of travel groups, school classes, and event organizers from the initial inquiry to onsite welcome
  • Identifying further needs of our visitors and proactively contributing to the further development of our information and service offerings

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed training, preferably in the event/service or cultural sector, but
