    Job Posting: Staff Management Auditor (F&E)

    Department: Food & Agriculture

    Salary: $6,989.00 per Month

    Final Filing Date: Until Filled


    Job Description and Duties

    The final filing date for this role has been extended to Until Filled. If you have previously applied, your application is still under consideration. This position involves planning, leading, and supervising a small team of auditors, and conducting complex internal and external audits for the Department. Extensive knowledge of accounting systems, data processing systems, auditing standards, and government regulations is required.

    Duties include:

    • Plan, organize, and supervise auditing staff
    • Conduct and supervise audits of District Agricultural Associations
    • Resolve complex problems logically and creatively
    • Perform quality control reviews of audit reports
    • Train and develop audit staff
    • Collaborate with interdepartmental staff and external entities

    Candidates may perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Working Conditions

    This role is office-based 65% of the time and field-based 35% of the time. Up to 35% travel throughout California may be required, including overnight stays.
