Our client in Iowa is looking for an IT Strategic Sourcing Specialist for a contract role with potential to convert down the road. The ideal candidate will have:

Contract negotiation, working with internal and external stakeholders
Managing RFP, RFI, RFQ process
Experience with Coupa and Workday
Experience with a SaaS company
Go-getter and not afraid to ask questions
Comfort with a fast paced environment

responsibilities:
Responsibilities

Minimum of 5 years of Strategic Sourcing experience focused on IT projects for software and services
Lead and execute long term agreements through formal RFx methodologies.
Analyze spend data and industry dynamics to identify, prioritize, and launch sourcing initiatives
Establish positive relationships across the business units to ensure active and early participation in supplier related matters
Collaborates with business stakeholders and work with cross functional teams to understand requirements and current gaps and challenges to develop best strategic sourcing strategies
Lead supplier contract renewals and leverage competitive pricing, quality and high customer service
Develop strategic relationships with existing or new key suppliers and ensure appropriate engagement levels exist to drive partnership objectives
Identify process improvements to increase efficiencies and maximize spend opportunity.
Improve and maximize Workiva's financial position through the price, payment terms, and other terms & conditions negotiations
Demonstrate success with managing a project/program to completion
Proven success in sourcing, negotiating, and delivery of contracts, with an emphasis in software related purchases in Accounting, Finance, HR and IT
Experience with software contract rationalization supporting acquisitions
Experience with international sourcing & procurement is highly desired
