    Product Lead, Core Platform


    Sunnyvale, California, United States23andMe is looking for a Product Lead on the Core Platform team to be responsible for delivering an engaging DTC offering rooted in genetics and other health data.

    At 23andMe, our Core Product is the foundation of the business, the platform by which our customers interact with their genetic data, and the customer database from which our R&D teams derive insights for research and product offerings.

    You will play a key role in rallying our cross-functional partners and exploring ways to empower our customers with tools to take a deeper look into their genetics and manage their health.

    What You'll DoCore Platform encompasses the glue and critical infrastructure on which the rest of the product is built on.

    Drive 23andMe's continued investments in security and privacy, ensuring that our customers retain best in class and seamless protection.
    Shape the information architecture of the products across web and mobile.

    This role will drive iteration of the user interface, how things are organized, and how users interact with all of our products.

    Drive a pipeline of product features and enhancements; constantly refine priorities to ensure alignment with company goals and overall product visionIdentify customer pain points and opportunities with key partners, build business cases to address them, and collaboratively brainstorm product opportunities for improvementCommunicate priorities, requirements, plans, and project status within key stakeholders throughout the organization on an ongoing basisCollaborate with Engineering and Design to plan, build, and launch features; facilitate communication, organization, and task management from concept through launchDefine success metrics for, measure, and evaluate the impact of product effortsMaximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid

    What You'll Bring10+ years of experience in product management at a technology company for a consumer-facing product, ideally in the healthtech / telehealth space5+ years experience hiring, mentoring, and leading a team of product managers and a track record as an amazing manager4+ years of experience developing features or functionality requiring a high level of user-centric design and iterationStrong analytical skills, including a command of A/B testingExemplary communication, presentation, and organizational skillsYou are clear and effective across different types of audiencesExperience in highly regulated industries navigating delivering customer value in the midst of requirements and approvals required by regulationsInnovative thinking and problem solvingYou're able to translate business objectives and nebulous ideas into highly successful, creative consumer productsIndependent and proactive leadershipNote: Ability to work from 23andMe's office in Sunnyvale, CA a minimum of 3 days per week

    Pay Transparency23andMe takes a market-based approach to pay, and amounts will vary depending on your geographic location. The salary range reflected here is for a candidate based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

    The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
