Description

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis, LLC is a world class supplier of power generation services, parts and repairs. The Repairs Division is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our growing business at our 200,000 square foot St. Louis Steam Turbine and Generator Repair Facility. The Staff Accountant will provide helpful support to our Finance and Operations teams. This position will not require travel.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:

Assist in project job costing responsibilities
Preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Assist with regulatory filings such as Missouri Personal

Property Tax Reporting

Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments with ADHOC tasks.
Support the overall Accounting Department with month-end close process; prepare and post journal entries to the

General Ledger

Provide Accounts Payable with GR/IR support, control open PO's
Assist with Fixed Asset / CIP Accounting
Monitor and process employee expense reports through concur
Assist with employee time card processing to ensure accurate payroll and job costing

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 2 years' experience.
Strong analytical mindset.
Self-identifies areas of need and takes initiative.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables & V- Lookups
Experience using an ERP system such as Epicor or SAP
Experience with Concur
