    Vice President Human Resources

    Location: Nevada or Kansas

    Salary: 250K to 270K Plus Bonus and Relocation

    Summary:

    Our client is seeking a highly motivated and passionate VPHR professional. The VPHR role will be responsible for being a Strategic Visionary that can Tie Things Together by aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units and serves as a consultant to management on human resources related issues. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

    Essential Functions


    • Plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs, and evaluates the organization's human capital strategies, processes and performance.


    • Creates and executes strategic vision for human resources function, with a focus on structure, innovation, and collaboration.


    • Leads the design and implementation of human resource communication programs to support and reinforce organizational objectives and comply with regulations.


    • Collaborates with the Director of Culture and Engagement to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are incorporated into human resource initiatives.


    • Ensures recruiting initiatives are effective, innovative and anticipate future organizational needs.


    • Creates and oversees company leadership development programs, supporting leadership in succession planning.


    • Defines and collects key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and identifies areas for improvement.


    • Develops and oversees compensation and benefit programs to ensure market competitiveness.


    • Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.


    • Participates in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a strategic partner.


    • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent; or ten to fifteen years experience in a High Speed Manufacturing environment preferred.


    • Proven ability to sell company vision and strategic plan to potential business partners.

    Preferred Qualifications:


    • 10+ years VPHR leadership experience, with a majority in a manufacturing environment, preferably (Automotive, EV, Electronics, Appliances, etc.) in both union and non-union environments. Multi-site HR leadership preferred.


    • Humility and high self-confidence to listen without ego, and advocacy for the important things. Positive Energy.


    • Demonstrated comfort in multi-national environments.


    • Superb written and spoken communication. This role is a critical leadership role, with communications affecting a large organization.


    • Demonstrated excellence in investigatory elements of employee relations including having addressed concerns related to discrimination, compliance, safety, etc.


    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word


    • Alignment to companies seven (7) core principles (contribution to society, fairness and honesty, cooperation and team spirit, untiring effort for improvement, courtesy and humility, adaptability, gratitude)
