    Description

    Join our team as a Senior Accountant in charge of managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for a Dallas based transportation company! We are looking for a proactive professional with a solid grasp of these functions and a positive mindset. Take on this dynamic role that involves overseeing daily operations and collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth processes.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions under the guidance of the Accounting Supervisor
    • Maintain accurate financial records and facilitate seamless operations
    • Manage daily processes, support team members, and deliver exceptional service
    • Collaborate on issue resolution promptly and effectively
    • Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior staff
    • Meet productivity targets, handle reporting, and ensure internal controls
    • Encourage skill development and performance excellence among junior employees
    • Conduct ad hoc analysis when needed

    Requirements:

    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
    • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
    • 5-7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
    • Strong interpersonal skills for team motivation and training
    • Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, etc.
    • Effective verbal and written communication abilities across all organizational levels
    • Prior leadership experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
