Dual specialization in Pulmonology and Internal Medicine.

Experience Requirements
There is no specific number of years of experience required as a pulmonologist.

The candidate must also be able to treat internal medicine patients, which is why a specialization in Internal Medicine is necessary.

Job Description

As a head physician/specialist at the Department of Medicine and Geriatrics, you will have a varied workload between the department and the clinic.

Along with other chief physicians, you will be responsible for both departmental and clinic work in pulmonology. You will also be expected to treat inpatient internal medicine patients.
We conduct extensive diagnostic procedures, with a focus on cancer.

We also perform advanced bronchoscopy procedures using EBUS technology, which is currently only available at Ryhov County Hospital, in collaboration with our colleagues in Eksjö.

All lung cancer investigations and treatments in the Jönköping County Region are done in close collaboration with our lung section, which plays a crucial role.

There are opportunities to work with both inpatient and outpatient care, covering a wide range of pulmonology cases. We also have a large oxygen treatment program for patients at home.
