- Assist with technical engineering for project & construction management to ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, and specifications
- Assist with project submittals, submittal acquisition from subcontractors, and review incoming submittals prior to transmitting to the owner/engineer
- Coordinating with owner and engineer representatives during the project
- Allocate cost codes to the appropriate field operations and track/maintain quantities to verify subcontractor/supplier billing
- Track and compile records of materials, equipment, and labor for any/all change orders and field orders.
- Provide technical assistance with project scheduling
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports throughout the project
- Assist project management in all job aspects
- Coordinate with Survey as required to facilitate the construction
- Work with safety department to analyze potential job hazards and prepare plan to eliminate risks
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering preferred
- 1-2 years' experience as a Field Engineer/Assistant Project Manager in the construction/heavy civil industry
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Computer literate, Viewpoint, HCSS, and Primavera desirable
- Must possess a valid state driver's license prior to employment.
