Your tasks:


The city of Nordenham operates its own sewer network with approximately 220 km of sewage, combined and rainwater pipes, 80 pumping stations, pressure pipelines and a municipal sewage treatment plant. In this context, you will support the team and be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Assuming project management and processing in the course of construction measures in the area of sewer and/or sewage treatment plant in all performance phases according to HOAI while adhering to deadlines, costs and quality requirements, also in cooperation with engineering offices
  • Control, monitoring and billing of external and engineering services
  • Implementation of maintenance measures on sewers and surface drainage facilities
  • Professional handling of development measures in the respective area of responsibility and representation of the city's interests
  • Monitoring of wastewater disposal from commercial and industrial sectors
  • Communication with authorities, customers and contractors
  • Performing tasks in the field of water maintenance and property drainage systems

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in civil engineering, preferably in the field of urban water management, civil engineering, water management or hydraulic engineering, or in environmental engineering; alternatively, successfully completed training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in the field of urban water management or comparable
  • Ideally, relevant professional experience
