- Adequately understand and interpret business requirements and turn them into functional tests/scripts which will be executed.
- Adequately understand the various environments of testing and be able to test each Release thoroughly (including functional, integration, end to end, volume, load, stress testing, etc.)

- Must be familiar with the Agile Development Methodology specifically Scrum
- Create manual and automated test scripts.
- Logs all Defects found in the Defect Tracking tool

Job Purpose :
Looking for a QA Tester to expand and maintain our ever-evolving business application. This is an application we designed to be a communication tool between our company and our nationwide client base.
It has evolved since conception and now handles most of our internal business functions such as client billing and payroll for our employees.
We have many fresh ideas for the application as well as intricate maintenance that we just need the right person to enhance and sustain to aid in take the application to the next level.
We are looking for someone that can also bring their own ideas to the table and think outside the box.
This is a full-time position.The right candidate should have the ability to develop and work with our developers and leaders to ensure that enhancements and fixes are fully tested and ready to launch in our production environment with zero downtime to our business workflow.

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with Agile experience to join our dynamic software development team.
As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products throughout the Agile software development lifecycle.
Your expertise in Agile methodologies and strong testing skills will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and overall project goals.
Test planning and strategy:
Develop test plans and testing strategies that align with Agile principles. Define the scope of testing and identify the appropriate test techniques and tools to be used. Ensure that test efforts are effectively prioritized based on business requirements and project timelines.
Test case design and execution:
Create comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria. Execute tests manually and using automation tools, ensuring proper coverage of functionality, performance, and usability aspects. Document test results, track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
Continuous integration and delivery:
Collaborate with the development team to establish and maintain an efficient continuous integration and delivery pipeline. Integrate testing activities seamlessly into the development process, utilizing appropriate test automation frameworks and tools. Ensure that automated tests are reliable, maintainable, and provide quick feedback to the team.
Defect tracking and management:
Log and track defects using defect tracking tools. Work closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner. Verify defect fixes and ensure their proper integration into the software product.
Test environment setup:
Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain test environments that closely mimic the production environment. Ensure that test data is accurately prepared and test environments are properly configured for testing purposes.
Continuous improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
Actively participate in retrospective sessions to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of the software development process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in Agile software development environments.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile teams.
Solid knowledge of software testing principles, techniques, and best practices.
Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
