We are glad you stopped by. We are Anja Nübel and Hildegard Schubert, trainers at Witte, Weller & Partner, responsible for our apprentices. For 2024, we are looking for apprentices for our location in Nagold to become a patent attorney assistant (m/f/d).


Are you a conscientious and reliable person? Do you enjoy working precisely, independently, and responsibly? Then the profession of a patent attorney assistant (m/f/d) might be an exciting option for you.

Patent attorneys are engineers or scientists with additional legal training.

They advise their clients on patents (technical inventions), trademarks, or designs and take care of the application, defense, and enforcement of these industrial property rights.

A potential client could be a start-up that produces custom-made sneakers using 3D printing and wants to know if the idea can be protected by a patent.

Or a fashion designer who wants to protect their new collection as a design or their logo as a trademark.

Because only with industrial property rights are they protected from unauthorized imitations by competitors.

The attorneys are supported in their work by patent attorney assistants. They assist with the application and maintenance of industrial property rights and have a position of trust. They are the contact persons for clients from all over the world, as patent attorneys have an international clientele. And they are always up to date, as they learn about exciting technical
