    Job Opportunity

    We are currently looking for a skilled front-end web developer with expertise in WordPress to join our team at our Corporate office in Long Grove, IL. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for creating captivating digital experiences and staying updated on the latest web technologies and standards. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing our corporate website along with other divisional websites to support our online business strategies.

    This position reports to the Director of Corporate Marketing Shared Services and requires collaboration with various teams including marketing, design, videography, and IT to deliver effective solutions. An essential part of the role involves demonstrating leadership and skill in overseeing complex projects from inception to completion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain responsive and SEO-friendly websites using WordPress
    • Translate layouts and wireframes into functional HTML pages
    • Work with different APIs and integrations
    • Handle web administration, content management, and Google Analytics reporting
    • Create and update technical documentation for website maintenance
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across web properties and internal systems
    • Conduct cross-browser and device testing for website responsiveness
    • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements

    Requirements

    • 2-3 years of experience as a Front End Developer specializing in WordPress
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
    • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, client-side scripting, and JavaScript frameworks
    • Familiarity with PHP, UI/UX design, and SEO principles
    • Knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) reporting and Adobe Illustrator
    • Experience in responsive and adaptive design
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills
