    Social Media Coordinator The Deseret News Social Media Coordinator works with the marketing team to develop strategies to grow social media platforms and extend reach of content, as well as developing and managing relationships with our best readers.


    Duties may include:


    Creating and implementing marketing campaignsMonitoring analytics to identify trends and opportunitiesAssisting with marketing campaign creationResearching trends and providing competitive analysisCreating assets in Adobe InDesignYou are the right fit if you have:A Bachelor's degree in communications, business, marketing or graphic design; or are a senior progressing towards a degree in those fields and have completed an internship and have hands on social media marketing experiencePractical/professional experience (1-3 years) on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter and moreRunning multiple social media accounts on multiple platforms excites youA passion for news and online journalismThe ability to adapt to ever-changing practices to stay ahead in a competitive marketStrong data analysis and web analytics, and certified by Google AnalyticsGraphic design, or video editing, experience with the Adobe suite, specifically InDesignOur teamYou will join an energetic group of colleagues who aspire to the best processes for development that fit our team.
