    Water Mitigation Manager
    Pay Rate:DOE
    Schedule:Monday - Friday.8am - 5pm, Some Overtime

    GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
    The Mitigation Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the water damage
    mitigation division for the company. This role requires ensuring that projects
    are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. The
    Mitigation Manager will lead a team of technicians and work closely with other departments to
    ensure seamless operations.

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
    1. Advanced Project Oversight: Develop and implement a sophisticated project
    management framework. Utilize cutting-edge project management software to
    ensure meticulous planning, scheduling, and execution of water mitigation
    projects. This includes rigorous oversight of project milestones, budget
    adherence, and quality control, ensuring all projects align with the company's
    strategic objectives.
    2. Enhanced Team Leadership: Create an in-depth development program for the
    mitigation technician team, focusing on advanced technical skills, customer
    service excellence, and innovative problem-solving techniques. Foster a
    culture of leadership among team members, encouraging them to take initiative
    and contribute ideas for improved processes.
    3. Comprehensive Client Communication: Build a client communication system
    that offers regular updates, educational materials about the mitigation process,
    and a platform for feedback. Establish protocols for handling client concerns
    empathetically and efficiently, enhancing the overall client experience.
    4. Strategic Resource Allocation: Integrate a strategic approach to resource
    allocation, leveraging data analysis to predict resource requirements based on
    project complexity and scale. Develop partnerships with suppliers for timely
    procurement of high-quality equipment and materials.
    5. Advanced Safety Compliance: Implement an advanced safety management
    system, incorporating regular training in new safety technologies and practices.
    Conduct thorough risk assessments for each project to preemptively address
    potential hazards.
    6. Intensive Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment with the Estimator
    and Project Manager, focusing on integrated project delivery models. Utilize
    collaborative software and regular inter-departmental meetings to ensure a
    seamless transition and alignment between project phases.
    7. Detailed Estimate, Documentation and Reporting: Adopt a comprehensive
    documentation strategy that includes digital logs, photo and video records, and
    client testimonials. Use these insights for detailed reporting and analysis,
    contributing to a knowledge base for the company.
    8. Data-Driven Continuous Improvement: Establish a system for collecting and
    analyzing project data to drive continuous improvement. This should involve
    regular review meetings, client feedback analysis, and industry benchmarking
    to identify and implement best practices.
    9. Proactive Equipment Maintenance and Innovation: Develop a proactive
    equipment maintenance and innovation program. This includes scheduled
    maintenance, regular training on equipment operation, and investing in new
    technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in mitigation processes.
    • Initial Assessment and Emergency Response: Oversee emergency contact processes, ensuring rapid response and accurate initial assessment of water damage. Implement swift action plans for initial mitigation steps.
    • Inspection and Damage Assessment: Direct thorough site inspections to evaluate water damage extent. Ensure accurate documentation and development of comprehensive restoration plans.
    • Water Removal and Extraction: Supervise the use of advanced equipment for water removal and extraction, mitigating further damage and preventing mold growth.
    • Drying and Dehumidification Processes: Oversee drying and dehumidification operations, ensuring removal of residual moisture and safeguarding structural integrity.
    • Content Manipulation and Pack-Out Services: Manage the handling, packing, and transportation of affected items to restoration facilities, ensuring their safe and efficient restoration or replacement.
    • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Lead cleaning and sanitizing efforts, guaranteeing the elimination of contaminants and prevention of mold and bacteria growth.
    • Restoration and Reconstruction Oversight: Coordinate the restoration phase, which includes structural repairs, replacements, repainting, refinishing, and reinstallation of fixtures and appliances. Ensure adherence to quality standards and client expectations.
    • Mold Prevention Strategies: Implement mold-resistant measures during restoration to prevent future issues.
    • Communication and Documentation: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, updating them on progress and providing necessary documentation for insurance claims.
    • Post-restoration Inspection: Conduct comprehensive inspections post-restoration to confirm the thoroughness and quality of the work.
    • Team Leadership and Training: Provide leadership and training to the mitigation team, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and safety protocols.
    • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve mitigation processes and procedures, incorporating new technologies and methods where applicable.
    • Client and Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
    • Regulatory Compliance and Safety Management: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
    • Budget and Resource Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising on service quality.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Environmental Sciences, or a related
    field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in water damage mitigation or a related industry.
    • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a managerial role.
    • Strong knowledge of water mitigation techniques, tools, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make decisions in the best interest of the company and client.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Certifications in water damage restoration and related fields would be an advantage.
