    Description
    Performs general and cost accounting functions. Prepares analyses as well as accounting reports according to GAAP.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Provide technical advice and guidance according to Federal/State Regulations and GAAP.
    Gather financial information to prepare journal entries
    Prepare monthly & quarterly financial package
    Responsible for monthly detailed analysis of major GL accounts.
    Gather information and prepares various audits and gov't surveys.
    Maintain intercompany billing and reconciliation.
    Maintain commission schedule and prepares for commission payments.
    Weekly and monthly Cash Forecasts.
    Responsible for preparation of budgeting and cash flow reports.

    Maintain all a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.

    Support, review, & reporting of program finance EACs, ETCs, Manpower Requirements, & Material Disbursements
    Responsible for running monthly closing (in Costpoint)
    Monitor & record capital equipment (fixed assets)

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
    Bachelor's degree Accounting or equivalent
    5 – 8 years general accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
    Government accounting experience highly preferred
