Senior Accountant
Melville, NY

Our client is a mid-sized corporation with international presence who is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their team.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in Accounting along with four years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry.
You will work with the Accounting Manager to provide detailed, accurate financial reporting.

This is a terrific opportunity to join a sizable, growing corporation and assist them as they continue to grow and develop.

This is a full-time onsite position offering a salary of $100,000 to $110,000.They offer a comprehensive benefits package including generous PTO, strong 401k match.

Responsibilities for the Accountant job include:

Compile and analyze financial data for general ledger entries
Assist in the monthly preparation of financial statements
External audit preparation and support
Cost analysis and reporting
Involvement in ad hoc projects as necessary

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Four or more years of accounting experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment is required
Combination of accounting, cost analysis skills
Strong presentation skills
Strong technical aptitude, must know Pivot Tables, VLookups in Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
