    Description


    The Dallas Mavericks marketing team is seeking an experienced director to focus on international marketing in a diverse and fast-paced environment.

    The ideal candidate will be bilingual and have a proven track record of success in developing and overseeing international marketing initiatives that drive business growth and increase brand awareness including but not limited to, campaigns, activations, media buys, and agency collaboration.


    JOB FUNCTIONS:

    Developing International Marketing Strategies:

    Creating comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to specific international markets, considering factors such as cultural differences, consumer behaviors, market trends, and competitive landscapes.


    Market Research and Analysis:

    Conducting thorough market research to identify target audiences, understand their needs and preferences, and assess market opportunities and challenges.

    Analyzing market trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory environments to inform decision-making.

    Brand Management:
    Overseeing the development and maintenance of the company's brand image and reputation in international markets. Ensuring brand consistency across different regions while accommodating cultural nuances and preferences.

    Marketing Communications:

    Developing and executing integrated marketing communication plans for international markets, including advertising, public relations, digital marketing, social media, events, and promotions.

    Ensuring that messaging resonates with local audiences and aligns with overall brand positioning.

    Localization and Translation:

    Overseeing the localization and translation of marketing materials, websites, and other collateral for international markets, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency with brand messaging.


    Team Leadership and Development:
    Building and leading a team of marketing professionals located in different regions, providing guidance, support, and strategic direction. Fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment and facilitating professional development opportunities for team members.


    REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function with the following:
    Impactful and articulate communicator with ability to conduct business (read, write and present) in fluent Spanish and English (preferred).
    Inspirational leader with proven ability to influence, collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external teams.
    Ability to manage multiple teams.
    Experience facilitating meetings and presentations to stakeholders.
    Time management and delegation abilities.
    Knowledge of International marketing, activations, and global sponsorship.


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field or;
    5+ years of international marketing experience and event activations as well as media buying.
    Advanced computer knowledge, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
