Job DescriptionBluewater Builders, Inc., a private boutique construction firm that continues to offer the Florida construction market a personalized approach that focuses on overall customer satisfaction, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the AP Bluewater Builders inbox, printing/scanning invoices and submitting for Project Manager's approval. Maintaining the A/P register and related reports. Entering invoices, AIA requisitions for daily and future payments, ensure timely payments of vendor's invoices and maintain accurate records and control reports. Manage vendor correspondence, vendor statement reconciliation, past due invoices, creating checks for daily/weekly check runs, creating release of liens for checks, entering COI for vendor compliance, prepare and update the cash forecast and implement policies and procedures related to A/P.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Associate or higher degree/education in accounting or other appropriate discipline is preferred.
· Two to three years plus of relevant experience in General Contracting/Construction highly preferred.
· Attention to detail.
· Proficient in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of ERP systems a plus. (QuickBooks, Viewpoint).
· Practical communication ability, organizational skills problem solving, experience with viewpoint a plus.
· Stellar work ethic, attention to detail and self-motivation.
· Construction Industry Knowledge

· Clear & Concise communication is a must.

· QuickBooks/Vista Viewpoint/ Procore a plus
