    About the Role

    Scorpion is looking for an Outbound Sales Development Representative to join our team From facilitating initial conversations to developing team-wide best practices, you will be an integral member of our Demand Generation team. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating excitement about Scorpion. You'll get to work alongside an extremely passionate and supportive team, but most importantly, you'll jumpstart your career in an exciting field.     What your success will look like

    • This is an onsite role, requiring 5 in-office days a week.
    • Prospect, educate & qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities
    • Master the ability to evangelize the Scorpion story
    • Align Scorpion solutions with prospect business objectives & needs
    • Collaborate with sales reps to schedule prospect calls, meetings, and demos
    • Proactively keep abreast of our industry and the technology landscape to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers
    • Make strategic outbound calls & emails daily
    • Acquire key prospect data from the initial conversation, from the web and other sources, and ensure clean and accurate data is entered and maintained in CRM
    • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified appointments/demos scheduled and deals closed

    Who you are and what you bring

    • 1+ year of sales or other relevant experience
    • Must have sales ability demonstrated by past experience in a similar role(s)
    • Ability to identify and qualify sales opportunities
    • Effective collaborator; must be able to work well with our team of sellers
    • Positive attitude and a huge amount of grit to succeed in a rewarding role

    Compensation

    • We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
    • The base salary is $55,000 (base). The base salary + annual variable for this position is $75,000 (OTE) exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary + annual variable range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
