Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant
Responsibilities include:
Develop cutting-edge processes used to manufacture the most-advanced semiconductor chips, many of which are inside everyday electronic devicesDesign both hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data with statistics and compile reports with high level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experimentsPerform hardware characterization on a variety of advanced systems and provide guidance to design engineering authority, within safety guidelinesTroubleshoot a variety of complex problems, perform multiple root cause analysis and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering and customer product issuesGenerate internal and external documentation for products, presentations and technical reportsInteract with customers to resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issues, up to including oral presentations to customersExecute problem-solving learning cycle: define problem statement, devise experimental plan and select characterization techniques with which data will be collected, perform experiments, perform measurements, process and analyze data, draw conclusions based on data, execute if necessary a follow-up learning cycle based on conclusionsMeasure film properties and interpret data to drive concise conclusionsIdentify, select and work with vendors and suppliersImplement new technology, products and analytical instrumentationRequirements Graduating with a Master's degree (or Doctorate or Postdoc) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Nanotechnologies or related fieldDemonstrable breadth of expertise in semiconductor technologiesAble to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutionsAbility to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of informationCommunicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others to adopt a different point of viewMulti-disciplinary team collaborationFlexible and adaptable mindsetThrive in a results-driven cultureHas an appetite to grow a career in the semiconductor industryConsiderations Previous internship or related experience in fieldDemonstrated leadership experienceThesis and relevant courseworkPatents and publicationsQualificationsEducation:Doctorate Degree (Required), Master's Degree (Required)

S Salary Range:
$84, $115,500.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
