    Job Title:

    Process EngineerSummary:As a Process Engineer, you will work within one of our Value Streams to maintain and improve efficiencies, reduce cost, improve safety and EHS compliance, improve sustainability, and maximize profits.

    This role may support the Performance Additives or the Formulated Specialties/Construction Sealants businesses.


    Responsibilities Include:


    Drive process cycle time reduction and process improvements beyond weekly time horizonCreate additional capacity on existing assetsTracks metrics to discover areas of improvement and monitor progressAssess and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

    Update, approve, and maintain technical process information including part V operating manual sections, manufacturing instructions, and outputs from change managementImplement small-medium scope MOCsDevelop scope for small - medium scope projects, and provide justification for maintenance capex projectsCoordinate with Technology to execute NPI's and product translationsLead production trials as assignedSupport PHA and implement corrective actionsWork with Process Development Engineer to develop long term plan for the products and business.


    Qualifications:
    The following are required for the roleBS degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline2+ years of related industry experienceAble to communicate effectively across levels of the organization, solid presentation skillsAbility to troubleshoot process problems, identify and implement corrective actionsAbility to create simple, effective, and comprehensive work instructions to document strict process procedures and methodsAbility to act in a safe and environmentally responsible mannerStrong sense of urgency, and accountability, and delivers on commitmentsStrong computer skills, including MS OfficeThe following are preferred for this role Manufacturing experienceTechnical knowledge in industrial equipment and chemical productsDemonstrated knowledge of continuous and batch chemical processesSix
    • Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S experienceCause Map trainedProject and process safety managementAutomation and digitization skillsetKnowledge of instrument, electric domain.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb, twist, turn, grasp, and move about the facility.

    Walking, walking on irregular surfaces, and balancing will be required. Hearing, sight to include depth perception and color vision, and the ability to speak clearly will be required. Occasional lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.

    Base Pay Range:
    $73, $107,360.00The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable.
