    Job Description Summary


    The Clinical Research Coordinator A will assist in the coordination of Phase I-IV clinical trials, including coordination, organization and maintenance of all documentation required by Sponsor or CRO; data entry; resolve data queries with Sponsor or CRO; recruit, screen and enroll potential study subjects from inpatient and outpatient; participate in the conduct of audits; process and ship blood, stool and specimens; schedule patient visits and any necessary testing; obtain records required to complete case report forms; conduct initiation, monitoring and closeout visits with Sponsor or CRO; adhere to all Penn ICF and FDA guidelines; prepare and process all IRB documentation.

    Weekend work may be required as specified in protocols.

    Job Responsibilities


    • Prepare and process all IRB documentation
    • Recruit, screen and enroll potential study subjects
    • Collect, process and ship blood, stool and urine specimens
    • Coordination, organization and maintenance of all clinical trial documentation and data entry required by Sponsor
    • Scheduled patient visits and any necessary testing; obtain records to complete case report forms
    • Participate in conduct of audits; data entry; resolve data queries; conduct initiation, monitoring and closeout visits with Sponsor
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
    Position is contingent on continued funding.

    Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required for this position. Effective problem solving capabilities. Effective communication and writing skills. Ability to multitask. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team or independently. Knowledge of IRB and human research protection regulations preferred.

    Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
