- Prepare form and written pleadings.
- Prepare correspondence to clients, experts, and opposing attorneys.
- Meet with clients and experts.
- Prepare child and/or spousal support calculation using Xspouse software.
- Propound discovery and respond to discovery requests.
- Conduct legal research/analysis.
- Prepare case memorandums.
- Prepare testimony questions for hearings and depositions, as well as opening and closing arguments.
- Accurately track time in case management software.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing family law.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of California Family Code, Code of Civil Procedure, and Evidence Code.
- Strong legal writing and research skills.
- Prior leadership/management experience.
- Proficient computer skills using Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Xspouse/Xarrears.
- Bar Certification is required.
