A National Client is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced Data Privacy Associate to join our esteemed team in any of our Denver, Irvine, D.C., or New Jersey offices. We are seeking attorneys with a minimum of 4 years of robust experience in consumer and employee privacy matters.

The ideal candidate will possess

Significant legal advisory expertise, including proficiency in managing data privacy compliance initiatives, drafting comprehensive privacy policies and notices, negotiating data protection agreements, conducting data mapping exercises, guiding clients on consumer consent workflows, addressing technical issues related to websites/apps and digital marketing (such as cookies, pixels, targeted ads, global privacy controls, and dark patterns), and advising on the execution of data protection impact assessments and responses to data subject requests.
Expertise in employee and consumer privacy laws and regulations (at state, federal, and/or international levels) is essential, familiarity with data breach and incident response protocols and consumer privacy litigation and regulatory enforcement actions is highly preferred, though not mandatory.
Ideal candidates will have obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in at least one category.

While some background in employment law is preferred, we are also open to collaborating with emerging legal talent possessing exceptional skills in consumer privacy and cybersecurity. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
