WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Motivated team player for boutique law firm specializing in employment cases for public entities including FEHA, EEOC, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, age discrimination and civil rights violations.

Will be assisting litigation team with level of responsibility directly correlated to experience. We are willing to train to encourage professional growth. Need experience in representing public entities.

Skills/experience

Requires associate with 5-12 years experience in government entity representation who is a California licensed attorney. The pace is fast but collegial and collaborative.

The position includes document review and preparation, clients meetings, court appearances, depositions, expert retention and meetings, drafting and responding to discovery motions and analysis of complex client records.

Trial preparation including Motions in Limine, prepping clients, witnesses and experts for trial testimony and assistance with 402 motions and jury instructions.

The position requires a strong work ethic, communication and outstanding writing skills. Must have meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Position contemplates eventual partnership position.
