    Career Opportunity: Data Analyst Position at Cincinnati Development Fund in Cincinnati, OH

    If you are a skilled Data Analyst who loves gathering, organizing, and examining data from various sources, and if you can create informative dashboards and visual representations using data tools, then we want to hear from you.

    We are on the lookout for a meticulous and analytical Data Analyst to be a part of our team. In this role, you will dive deep into financial, lending, and impact data to bolster the strategic goals of CDF.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Data Collection and Management:
      • Collect data from different sources like internal databases, financial systems (Sage Intacct), and external reports.
      • Input loan details into our loan servicing system.
      • Organize all data collection activities at CDF.
      • Maintain data accuracy and integrity through audits and validation processes.
      • Update and manage data systems and databases.
      • Assist the Portfolio Manager in obtaining missing compliance and impact data.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting:
      • Study financial, loan, and impact data to spot trends and insights.
      • Create regular and on-demand reports for management and stakeholders.
      • Develop visualizations and dashboards to effectively showcase data findings.

    Performance Monitoring:

    • Provide project and program impact data for funding applications and communications.
    • Keep an eye on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program effectiveness.
    • Offer suggestions based on data analysis to enhance program outcomes.

    Support Strategic Planning:

    • Cooperate with management and program teams for strategic planning.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide initiatives and development.
    • Monitor neighborhood-level census data for CDF target markets.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with various teams to facilitate data-driven decisions.
    • Present data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, finance, economics, mathematics, urban planning, or a similar field.
    Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, R, Python, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Knowledge of CDFI industry, community development finance, and regulatory standards is a bonus.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with GIS mapping and spatial data analysis.
    • Understanding of impact measurement and social performance metrics.
    • Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
