    Description

    Data Analyst

    Charlotte, NC/Phoenix, AZ/Minneapolis, MN/Dallas, TX/New York City

    Hybrid onsite

    12+ month contract

    In this role, you will:

    • Define and document product features, stories, and solutions for data products that put consumer insights into practice.
    • Align feature needs to functional data needs and solutions, including hands-on primary data research, solution testing, and partner presentation.
    • Lead data/technical design sessions, working with SMEs to understand and capture functional and non-functional design and rules requirements
    • Deliver strategies and requirements for knowing and supporting our customers using data mining and related techniques
    • Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables in keeping with normal procedure
    • Agile "story pointing" - estimate efforts involved in ingestion, integration, transformation, and provisioning of data. Work with Product Owner and Scrum Master to confirm that stories are assigned to sprints in accordance with delivery expectations.
    • Conducting source to target mapping, conducting data lineage exercises in an environment with minimal metadata to identify root source of record and capture necessary transformations
    • Support solution administration capabilities such as business rules definitions and user-maintained data and logic within the production data utility.
    • Help resolve data related execution issues/risks and data defect remediation activities during development/deployment activities
    • Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations ranging from business solution design to detailed systems flows
    • Ensure solutions work in customer-facing applications while also making new customer insights available for analytic community.
