- Establishing and expanding the deal review function
- Driving collaboration across departments for efficient execution
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to devise strategies for complex deals, emphasizing financial and revenue compliance
- Provide financial insights and evaluations to sales leadership regarding deal economics, commercial terms, and operational needs
- Keep sales management informed about deal statuses and important updates for strategic decision-making
- Offer recommendations to sales leadership for deal approvals
- Review deals to ensure their accurate structuring and impact on booking and ARR metrics
- Give advice on pricing strategies for new market offerings
- Contribute significantly to scaling the Deal Review function
- Suggest and implement strategies for the long-term development of the deal review team
- Ensure compliance of non-standard deals with established revenue recognition principles
- Collaborate across different departments including legal, sales operations, order management, revenue, finance, and product management
- Act as the main contact and expert for sales on licensing and pricing models
- Enforce adherence to internal processes and business regulations
- Develop and manage systematic CRM workflows for non-standard orders
- Participate in testing and roll-out of new CPQ applications, offering feedback to optimize these tools for operational effectiveness
- Over 6 years of background in enterprise sales, finance, or deal desk in the high-tech industry
- Experience with the Annual Recurring Revenue business model
- Proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and financial analysis
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, reporting, and data management solutions
- Familiarity with Enterprise Sales Infrastructure like Salesforce CRM/CPQ and ability to comprehend intricate systems and dependencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, establishing trust, credibility, and influence with various partners
- Strong ability to collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and IT departments
