Description

Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Type: Contract or Evaluation to hire
Pay: $23-$25 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM

The Accounts Receivable Specialist effectively manages and resolves problems of the outstanding accounts receivable, which happens by ensuring timely receipt of payments from customers. You will be reaching out to customers, vendors, and insurance companies to collect payment for overdue bills and payments. This role acts as a liaison between customers and vendors and the Finance Department.

Job Details:

Complete collection calls to clients, vendors, and insurance carriers.
- Support the Business Manager with administrative assignments.
- Record all collections calls in our main operating system, RMS.
- Contact Insurance Adjustors to see the status of payment release.
- Receive and take inquiry calls dealing with collections.
- Assist and work with multiple PDO locations for accounts receivable matters.

Qualifications/Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivables or Collections
- High school diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Sage and RMS is preferred
- Customer service and communication skills as well as exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to maintain a level of confidentiality
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time in front of a computer and phone
