During these meetings, you'll introduce yourself, shed light on the PSEG & Home Energy Star programs, and establish a genuine rapport with the homeowners. Your expertise will be instrumental in revisiting these customers and guiding them through tailored solutions to enhance their home's energy efficiency. From recommending top-tier insulation methods like spray foam and blown-in insulation to suggesting the best in heating and cooling solutions, you'll be pivotal in guiding homeowners toward smarter energy choices and a more sustainable future.     Responsibilities:

    As a Home Energy Specialist Sales Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

    1. Conduct Residential Energy Audits: Utilize your expertise to assess the energy efficiency of homes. Travel to and from your residence to company-generated pre-qualified appointments with homeowners within the Long Island area (no cold calling or door knocking)
    2. Educate Homeowners: Inform homeowners about the benefits of energy efficiency upgrades tailored to their specific needs.
    3. Sell Energy Efficiency Upgrades: Offer solutions such as insulation, air sealing, heat pumps, gas boilers, and furnaces. Act as the local, on-site representative to customers, guiding them through the program and addressing any concerns or questions. Travel within a defined territory to reach potential customers and clients in Long Island.

    Qualifications:

    To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

    • Successful Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales is essential.
    • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and an Associate Degree is preferred.
    • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with using computers and smartphone applications. Transportation: Reliable transportation is a must to travel within your defined territory.
