    System and Support Specialist

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    The Systems and Support Specialist will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting Konami Synkros system for the slot route and multiple casinos.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

    • Resolve customer issues through phone, network and on onsite support
    • Install and test systems at new and existing locations
    • Maintain accurate inventory records of installed software
    • Manage software and procedures for upgrades
    • Work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule
    • Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization
    • Create user accounts and managing access control based on company policies
    • Terminate and test network cabling
    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Previous experience with desktop hardware, slot accounting/player tracking and network connectivity a plus.
    • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong systems troubleshooting skills required
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and administrative skills
    • Proficient computer skills
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

    The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
