Requirements

The Staff Accountant maintains records of financial transactions by posting transactions, analyzing daily activity and ensuring legal requirements compliance.

Regular reconciliation of relevant bank and liability accounts.
Monthly preparation of financials for executive review.
Maintains historical records by filing documents in our shared cloud software.
Reviews financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.

Education & Experience

Associate Degree in accounting, finance, Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
Strong communication, attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
Understanding of SFAS rules, accounting principles, confidentiality, and reporting standards
